Amplify Mission Network Names Andrea McMaster as President
Amplify Mission Network has named Andrea McMaster as its new President. With extensive experience as a strategic communications and public relations leader, McMaster is charged with continuing to build and strengthen the organization’s work connecting Christian business leaders with emerging, faith-based nonprofits for greater impact.
McMaster says, “I am overjoyed to step into a leadership role with an organization that has a strong foundation and is poised for growth. What drew me to Amplify is its core mission of fostering connections and creating spaces where community leaders can share their gifts, talents, experiences, and expertise with emerging nonprofits. The most fulfilling aspect is witnessing the ripple effect of these connections in empowering nonprofits to amplify their impact and extend Christ’s love throughout the world.”
McMaster brings leadership experience in relationship management, communications, media relations, and news reporting. She succeeds Amplify’s first President, Julie Eide, who has been serving in the role since 2016 and will be retiring at the end of the year. Eide and McMaster will work together in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition with McMaster assuming the responsibilities of President on November 20.

In Andrea we have found a doer and a thinker; a visionary and a strategist; someone with presence who can draw people in and lead them to find joy in committing their time, talents and treasure to Amplify’s mission.”
Julie Eide, Amplify’s outgoing President said, “Andrea’s passion, vision, and deep commitment to Amplify’s mission make her the perfect leader to guide Amplify into an exciting future. I am confident her leadership will bring fresh perspectives and continued growth for the organization.”
Over the past 25 years, McMaster has led solution-focused strategies to boost brand awareness and grow business for all-size companies and nonprofits. Prior to her most recent role as Director of Accounts at One Simple Plan, McMaster spent more than a decade at Media Minefield, helping to secure new business and grow the young organization, achieving recognition as one of Twin Cities’ 50 fastest-growing companies by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. In the first half of her career, McMaster worked as an anchor and reporter for a variety of news outlets, winning multiple broadcast journalism awards.
In addition to her extensive leadership experience in the workplace, McMaster has played a pivotal role in developing her church congregation’s women’s ministry and an annual international women’s ministry event.
