Amplify Welcomes the Second Mid-Management Cohort

FEBRUARY 23, 2022

This week, Amplify Mission Network launched its second cohort of the Mid Management Track within their Learning Academy, welcoming 14 mid-level leaders from six Minnesota based nonprofits.

“The Learning Academy creates an exceptional learning environment, bringing together business leaders to share with leaders in the nonprofit ministry space to provide the necessary support, training, and encouragement they need to better deliver on their missions,” said Julie Eide Amplify Mission Network President.

The Mid Management track consists of six monthly sessions providing expertise and training in a variety of areas, including Marketing, Operations/Logistics, Leadership, Development/Fundraising, etc. Topics are designed to help mid managers expand their knowledge of key nonprofit principles while building leadership skills.

Cameryn Hubbard, a manager at Treehouse and participant in last year's Mid-Management Track, shared, “I recently stepped into my new management role and there were many things that this training helped me to recognize about my personal style while gaining more confidence in my abilities.”

Workshop presenters are local business leaders who are experts in their fields like Stiles Anderson, President of Studio/E. Anderson was instrumental in helping shape the Learning Academy in it’s beginning stages and continues to be involved in teaching on principles of exploratory leadership in one of the track’s sessions. “What a privilege it's been to facilitate sessions with Amplify’s Learning Academy! The level of commitment and engagement the participants show up with is remarkable. To know you are supporting such passionate, mission-driven leaders means everything,” shared Anderson.

This second Mid Management cohort is made up of 14 ministry leaders representing six Minnesota based nonprofits, including Treehouse, Church of the Open Door, Urban Ventures, Emerge Mothers Academy, Timber Bay, and Uncommon Sports Group. The first of six monthly sessions was held on Wednesday, February 23rd.
