February 2026 AMP Session Recap: Going Where You’re Called

“Have you ever felt God calling you to do something and actually stepped out and did it?”

In 2012, Brian and Jill Dejewski sensed God calling them not just to serve a mobile home community, but to live in one. With their two young boys, they moved into the Corcoran community.

Before moving in, they thought they understood the needs. But after moving in, they truly did. They were no longer a group that came and went. They were neighbors, living in B38. Sharing life. Listening. Learning. And transformation began.

Mobile home residents in Corcoran experienced relational and practical change. Because of that impact, Mobile Hope was invited into three additional communities. Today, they serve four and are now being asked to move into five more.

Growth is accelerating.

Brian and Jill came to Amplify with a courageous and strategic ask:

“What do we need to put in place now to responsibly transition to a medium-sized nonprofit and prepare for sustainable growth?”

They invited business leaders to speak into infrastructure, fundraising strategy, storytelling, and board development. Leaders with experience in scaling, governance, and organizational growth leaned in, offering wisdom that strengthens the foundation beneath expansion.

This is what Amplify is about. Collaboration for impact. Business leaders and nonprofit leaders building stronger organizations together.

Brian and Jill’s obedience opened the door for transformation. Now, as Mobile Hope enters a new season, we have the opportunity to come alongside them, not just to admire their story, but to help build what comes next.
