Join us on Tuesday, Jan 10th for our first meeting of the new year!

Joining us as our guest speaker is Laurel Bunker! For over 30 years Laurel Bunker has been a leader in fields of non-profit management, higher education, church and para church ministry. Laurel’s mission is to impact the lives of men and women through empowered teaching, training, mentoring and leadership development that builds character and advances organizational change.

Returning to Amplify as our musical guest is Joel Hanson, local singer/songwriter.  He may be best known for his many years as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for the nationally known band PFR. Most recently, Joel served as worship Director for Church of the Open Door.

Two nonprofit ministries, The Reel Hope Project and Superman Sam’s Survival Kit, will share a 15 minute presentation outlining a challenge or opportunity their organization is facing. Read more about them below. You will then have 30 minutes to brainstorm in small groups, sharing ideas, and offering connections to amplify their work. The Reel Hope Project

creating videos of kids waiting to be adopted
Returning to Amplify is The Reel Hope Project who presented to Amplify back in May of 2018 when the organization was in its early stages. Since then, Reel Hope has secured a contract with the State of Minnesota to create videos to advance foster care placement and they have received a distinguished service award by the State of MN Department of Human Services. Reel Hope Project is returning to our network, inviting you into the next phase of their growth - expanding nationally!

Superman Sam's Survival Kit

Tracheostomy Baskets of support
Superman Sam's Survival Kit is an emerging organization that recently incorporated as a nonprofit organization with the help of an Amplify mentor! We are so honored to work with founder Jamie Grant at the beginning stages of her organization and help her deliver on her mission of providing hope to families or caregivers who bring their child home from the hospital with a lifesaving breathing tube (tracheostomy).
