Susie Larson, our speaker for the evening, is a bestselling author, national speaker, and host of the popular radio show Susie Larson Live. Whether behind a desk or behind a mic, Susie lives out her passion to see people everywhere awakened to the depth of God’s love, the value of their soul, and the height of their calling in Christ Jesus.

Joel Hanson is returning to Amplify as our musical guest for the evening. Joel is a local singer/songwriter who is perhaps known best as the lead singer of the Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning band PFR. He is a prolific songwriter who’s writing credits include PFR, Mercy Me, Sara Groves, Jason Gray, Phillips , Craig and Dean, Fusebox, Petra, Caitlyn Smith, Joe Rogness and others. He even wrote a little jingle for Amplify! 

Presenting Ministries

At the January Meeting, we will hear from two local organizations, Shobi’s Table and Young Adults Today. 

Both organizations will share a 15 minute presentation outlining a challenge or opportunity their organization is facing. You will then have 30 minutes to brainstorm in small groups, sharing ideas, and offering connections to amplify their work and help propel them to the next level of impact.

Shobi's Table pay-as-you-can food truck currently serves lunch three times a week in three locations along the University Ave corridor in St Paul, MN.

The meals are made from-scratch each week, utilizing rescued produce from Twin Cities Food Justice. The menus are nutritious, delicious, and provide dignity through the real food truck experience of providing choices that folks want to come back for.

Volunteers come to help prep the meals and serve at the truck. Everyone – from volunteers and employees to guests at the table, are all the foundations of this table based community.

Young Adults Today exists to see young adults reconciled to Christ and live a life honoring and pleasing to Him. They develop resources, host events, organize rallying points and create opportunities for people to connect through relationships. Their podcast, F.Y.I., is in the top 5% globally and answers the questions young adults are asking, while pointing them to the Word of God and heart of Christ.
