Presenting Ministries
At our November Group Meeting, we will amplify two organizations, Voicez, Inc. and Waters of Rest.
Both of these young, emerging organization are lifting spirits, giving individual renewed purpose, and relying on the power of teamwork and unity to produce powerful change in self, family, and community. However, their approaches differ significantly!
Voicez relies on the power of music and sound to unite youth in the heart of the city and help them become who they are destined to be. Water of Rest embraces the quiet and solitude of the Boundary Waters to restore and transform individuals. Read on to learn more.
Voicez
Voicez, Inc offers performance-based music education to galvanize youth, between the ages of 12 and 25, as agents of change by promoting self-esteem, leadership skills, cultural awareness, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
Voicez envisions a world in which urban youth have access to live into their purpose & dreams, specifically music and to learn vital and necessary life skills for their families and communities.
Waters of Rest
Christ-centered retreats blend time of Bible study, adventure, teamwork, solitude, living simply, and time away from technology in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
The hope is that through this time apart, away, and set apart, individuals will meet with God, listen to Him, and see Him in ways that will change them as they go back to their homes.
Both organizations will share a 15 minute presentation outlining a challenge or opportunity their organization is facing. You will then have 30 minutes to brainstorm in small groups, sharing ideas, and offering connections to amplify their work and help propel them to the next level of impact.
