Amplify’s Learning Academy Enters Its Fifth Year

Amplify’s Learning Academy Enters Its Fifth Year

SEPTEMBER 13, 2022

This week, Amplify Mission Network entered its fifth year of The Learning Academy welcoming a new cohort of nonprofit leaders enrolled in the Nonprofit Leader Track.

The first of nine monthly workshop sessions kicked off on Tuesday, September 13th at Treehouse in St. Louis Park. A special thanks to Aaron Damjanovich, Leadership Development Director at Eagle Brook Association, for starting us off with an inspiring and thought-provoking session on Vision Culture.

Participating in this year's Nonprofit Leader Track, are 19 Directors representing 17 local organizations.

Nonprofit Directors gather for one large group workshop style session and one small group mastermind session each month. Topics range from digital marketing, program evaluation, fundraising strategies, exploratory leadership, and more!

The Learning Academy has grown from one track offered in 2018 to three tracks offered last year and will serve more than 45 nonprofit leaders in 2022.

Julie Eide, Amplify Mission Network President shared, "The energy, laughter, and joy was music to my ears when we gathered in person for the first time in over two years for Learning Academy. 19 excited Executive Directors came hungry to learn, open to trying new things in new ways, and soak up the wisdom and tools our workshop partner shared."

Each Executive Director enrolled in the Learning Academy is paired up with an Amplify mentor to be a resource and support during their learning journey! If you are interested in serving as a mentor, check out our service opportunities

If you are a nonprofit leader, we invite you to join us! You'll turn up your impact as a leader and grow your organization in ways you never dreamed possible.
"I was so encouraged and inspired at the first Learning Academy meeting! The content was incredible and I have already implemented several of the things I learned. For the first time, I feel like I have clarity on the vision and values for my non-profit so I can better plan and execute my goals and strategies."
