PRESENTERS:
Disciple Science, Dale Gentry (8:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m.)

As a biology professor at University of Northwestern, Dale Gentry noticed that his students turn to YouTube first in their search for answers on topics from the meaning of life to tutorials on science and technology.
He also appreciated, and regularly used, the myriad of resources available on Christianity and scripture and on science and technology but noticed a big hole in between, there is very little good content integrating science with Christian faith.
Dale recruited help from a few friends and students and launched Disciple Science to create videos that teach science through the lens of Christianity, showing that science need not distract us from our journey of faith, and there is deep resonance between what we can know of God through scripture and our understanding of God through nature.

Faith’s Lodge, Kelly McDyre (12:00 p.m.. & 5:00 p.m.)

Faith’s Lodge supports parents and families coping with the death or medically complex condition of a child in a peaceful environment to reflect on the past, renew strength for the present and build hope for the future.
In its North Woods setting in Northwestern Wisconsin, Faith’s Lodge provides a peaceful escape for families to refresh their minds and spirits while spending time with others who understand what they are experiencing.
As Kelly McDyer, Executive Director, seeks to grow and expand the reach of Faith’s Lodge, she brings to Amplify a new employer sponsored benefit program called Hope Works Here.
Help Kelly identify opportunities to bring this valuable benefit to workplaces across the state and country, serving both grieving parents and employers in the transition back to work.
