Meeting Recap – May 2021
May 11, 2021
More than 80 partners participated in one of three virtual gatherings on Tuesday, May 11th with presenting ministries, Quincy House and The Justice Funds.
Tim Clark, Amplify Partner and President of Treehouse, started the meeting with a brief video update sharing his heart for the Learning Academy and his excitement over seeing its growth over the past few years. Currently, Amplify is in its fourth year of the Learning Academy and continues to expand its offerings with a new Mid Management track which launched in March and a new smaller, more in depth track being planned for the fall of 2021.
Quincy House shared an inspiring video showcasing the transformation that occurs in teens lives through their programming. Hearing Executive Director, Tami Moberg’s personal vision and passion for the youth in her community challenged us to consider the impact we might have in our own communities when we show up with unconditional love.
Moberg presented details regarding two new partnerships with the Mounds View Community Center and 180 Degrees, allowing Quincy House to expand their programming and serve more youth. Quincy House asked for support in navigating current and future partnerships to ensure good long-term outcomes for both the organization and the students they serve.
Do you have experience establishing and navigating strong partnerships?
The Justice Funds
The Justice Funds is a brand new initiative of the National Christian Foundation, Twin Cities, working to build and launch new funds focused on addressing justice related issues. As they enter their second year of operation, The Justice Funds Director Kari Norman, asked for input on their collaborative model of engaging donors with community organizations to identify and fund critical gaps. The Justice Funds is seeking feedback to solidify their current model, enhance future funds, and create compelling marketing materials to reach intended audiences and help them grow.
What compels you to support the organizations and causes you do? How can The Justice funds enhance their unique value proposition and grow?
AMP Session: Can You Make It?
Partners are needed to help advance ideas that began at our meeting on Tuesday. Spend one hour in consultation with Quincy House or The Justice Funds and meet additional Amplify partners. Together we’ll review the feedback forms and support the ministry in identifying next steps.
