Project Description

FIVE STONE MEDIA was not organized for the benefit of private interests, but rather to challenge current thinking in our culture, and attempt to bring light to an ever-darkening world by communicating thought-provoking, life-changing stories through the medium of film and television. We started with 3 short films featuring the remarkable story of John Turnipseed, a feared career criminal turned respected ambassador of God’s love and hope. With a demand for more stories, we have created a transformational video curriculum/series called Lifeblood, for men and women, being facilitated in prisons, jails and community programs.

In September 2017, Five Stone Media asked Barnabas Group Minnesota partners for suggestions and connections as they explore potential distribution channels beyond prisons in the areas of recovery and prevention:

  • What are the types of organizations Five Stone Media can equip with their Lifeblood curriculum and how do they reach them?

Following Five Stone Media’s presentation, Barnabas partners put their time, talents and connections to work for this inspiring ministry. Feedback included:

  • Partners offered two dozen potential constituents for the Lifeblood curriculum
  • Connections were made with five channels for distribution and funding
  • One Barnabas partner with 10 years of experience as a release planner has offered an abundance of resources and feedback
