September 2026 AMP Session Recap: Community, Connection & Collaboration
When Community Comes Together: Amplifying the Impact of ESTHER Homes and Haiti Empowered
Our September AMP Session brought the Amplify community together once again for an evening of connection, learning, and meaningful collaboration.
We were grateful to welcome guest speaker Sig Muller, who challenged us to think intentionally about purpose, gratitude, and the impact of how we use the time we’ve been given.
From there, we turned our attention to two organizations doing important work locally and globally: ESTHER Homes here in Minnesota and Haiti Empowered in Haiti.
Throughout the evening, attendees listened to the opportunities and challenges facing each organization and then put their own ideas, experiences, and connections to work—helping each nonprofit think differently about how to build relationships and strengthen long-term support for their missions.
A special thank you to Studio501 for sponsoring the evening and helping make this gathering possible.
ESTHER Homes provides housing, resources, and community support for pregnant women experiencing crisis, helping create stability for moms, babies, and families.
Their team invited the room to help think through an important opportunity for their future:
Around the tables, attendees explored what meaningful business partnerships could look like beyond simply writing a check. Conversations included ways ESTHER Homes could build awareness, create opportunities for businesses and employees to engage, communicate their impact, and make it easier for new partners to step into the mission.
Haiti Empowered serves communities in Haiti through education, nutrition, healthcare, employment opportunities, and the hope of Jesus.
Their conversation centered on a challenge familiar to many nonprofits: how to build lasting relationships with supporters who may be far removed from the people and communities they serve.
Attendees explored how Haiti Empowered can create meaningful connections between supporters and its work in Haiti, identify audiences most likely to care deeply about the mission, reinvigorate child sponsorship for a new generation, and consider additional opportunities for sustainable support.
The most meaningful feedback we receive comes from the people in the room. Here are just a few reflections from our September AMP Session.
